It is a Branch of Ghana Library Authority (GhLA) in the Volta Region  provides comprehensive and accessible public library services to promote lifelong reading habit among the populace. This is done with the objective of ensuring the development of the individual's social and intellectual capabilities for the creation of a well-informed for national development

 The Keta Municipal Library occupied a story building located in the Keta A.M.E Zion premises in between two street leading to the Keta maket (the Zion streets and an area popularly call Tamakloe Garden (Tamakloe borme)
The building was donated by the former Appeal Court Judge; Justice Jiagge who is a native of Keta around 1957.
the building saw  two renovations: Re-roofing in 1970 by the then District Assembly,some minor renovation by Mr. Essegbe and friends 2007 and the third one is the major renovation currently carrying out by Mr. Mitch Woolams. The Library is made made up  adult, ICT section at the upstairs and children section at the down stairs .
